Michael Cain and Michele Faux Present at Connect 2016

cainconnectOn April 27th, Michael Cain and Michele Faux from the DCDSB presented at the Connect Conference 2016.

The focus of the presentation was to share their experiences running the TILT (Technology Integration Lead Teacher) program at the DCDSB.

The TILT program led selected teachers through four half days of professional development focused on integrating technology into the curriculum and the classroom. TILT teachers were then given the opportunity to apply for release time back at their home schools in order to work with their colleagues on integrating technology.

The presentation was well received at Connect with Michael and Michele being given one of the largest rooms to speak. Their “Transforming Practice One Teacher at a Time” seminar quickly sold out on the Connect registration site.
